I'm unable to upload any YouTube videos to the main band info part of ProgArchives. Every time I try I get an error message saying "The website cannot display the page"

You don't upload them, you just add a link to the video by quoting the video reference.Click on "Insert Movie" and add the reference so it should insert HTML with TUBE HTML tags.

I tried clicking on "Share" on the YouTube video and then copied and pasted the embed code into the PA box provided, but that's where I keep receiving the message "The website cannot display the page.".

I don't know if it's the same for that page, but on the forum you're supposed to post just the video id (the bit after https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=) between the tube tags, not the whole url.

Obviously, I can't keep an eye on all albums you're reviewing.
If you post links (band pages and YouTube videos) I can try to add videos. No more than this. Please keep also in mind that only 3 recently added videos are shown on PA main page, thus makes sense to add no more than 1-2 videos in several days. If you add, for example, 20 videos at once, only the last 3 will be shown on the main page, very few visitors will notice the rest. |

Ideally, I'd like to have added the YouTube albums at the same time as I wrote the reviews. I now have a backlog of 26 album reviews to add the relevant videos for, as soon as I can figure out how to do it. I wish it was as easy as submitting videos in the forums.

If you write a blog or a thread on PA where you illustrate your text with videos, it's OK, many people do this. But I guess nobody would understand your plan, because it impossible on PA to "synchronize" reviews and videos. Bad idea and a waste of time in my opinion. |
