good on ya, yeah the GY!BEs have made some pretty epic albums but I was never too impressed with the samply parts or the sappy chamber ambient parts and Luciferian Towers just omits all that sh*t and cuts to the chase

I don't think they could top their first two for me. I'd put LT below Alleluia!... and possible Yanqui too.

I've only heard the first two. The debut I didn't really like much. Skinny Fists I really liked on first listen, but I haven't had the urge to listen since.

No real surprises from me.

Vantomme's debut
Vortex's Sonar
Elephant9's The Greatest Show On Earth
King Crimson's Meltdown
Mythic Sunship's Upheaval & Another Shape Of Psychedelic Music
Frank Zappa's Roxy Collection (if you count those sorts of things)
Pinoil's debut
Art Zoyd's Phase V

Excited to hear:

Far Corner's Risk
Moster!'s States Of Mind

That's just off the top of my head...I'm sure I've heard something else of value.

looking through my RYM ratings which I have been keeping since the summer I haven't actually found anything that stands out in score beyond the usual picks (DG & OPN) and another which is amongst usual picks for me but you might've missed it; a side project by Inga Copeland of Hype Williams, with a lot of freaky quirky tunes, not sure if it's your thing though: https://lolina.bandcamp.com/album/the-smoke
