Moonmadness. One of my top 10 albums of all time. But there's some good stuff on the list!

Well this is just plain daft! How the hell can anyone choose between this array of superb albums. 80% of the list is treasured in my vinyl collection and the other 20% I've built up digitally over the last 10 years too on the old iPod Classic. What a glorious time to be alive! I have to go for Farewell to Kings because it had a major effect on my life in so many ways - but Moonmadness, Songs, Wind, Animals, UK, Leftoverture etc. are a photo-finish away. Piano Concerto No.1 by old Keith still gets me to this day even if some of the rest of the album is less essential.

Farewell To Kings. ( I "apologize" for my lack of imagination. It's okay. I'll sleep just fine tonight. By the way, my dreams are quite imaginative )

good god man.. what a lame selection. As I've often said.. it wasn't punk that killed prog.. it was prog that killed prog haha.
voting other here... any of about 30 albums that smoke what the popular ones were doing.
flipping a coin.. ahhh...Kew Rhone |
Then maybe start a poll with those choices, instead of complaining. Many of us here are looking for new prog to discover.

For Jeffro..... go here http://www.progarchives.com/top-prog-albums.asp?salbumtypes=1 you can put in any year you like and hit submit...to see the top choices then.....plenty of less known bands when you scroll down the list a bit. Have fun.......

It is indeed and the one I voted for. Over is probably my second favorite here.

oh spare me that bullsh*t man.. I ain't complaining.. I've spent years helping people discover this stuff. In direct one and one capacity.. and later my crowning moment
I spent months of MY time in the albums contests first compliling the albums then administering the contest polls... trying to help you all discover albums other than these same old sh*t albums.. as well as catching ones I missed via suggestions.
