Hi,

So sad to say that the West Coast is almost totally ignorant of this kind of music. At least in these kinds of concerts ... it's hard to believe that LA, SF and Seattle can not fill an auditorium with a lineup like this and do well ... which kinda suggests that the folks "running" the shows in town, are the same folks, and they only do the money makers and never anything else.

The whole thing is sad ... and seeing the West Coast, inundated with "country" because there is nothing else, is just ... sad ... and even more saddddddddddddddddddddddddd ....
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

I agree with the above. It's a bummer no new fest has stepped in to fill the voids left by Prog Fest and Prog West. There have been some smaller one-nighters in DTLA but I haven't been able to make it to any.

There was a one-day fest called Day Out Of Time, that was to be held back in 2003. Steve Roach and Djam Karet were the announced headliners. It was cancelled due to lack of sales. I still have my ticket (purchased promptly because I was really looking forward to going!).
