Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

1. Larks' Tongues In Aspic (KC) 2. Selling England By The Pound (Genesis) 3. Brain Salad Surgery (ELP) 4. Dark Side Of The Moon (PF) 5. Tales From Topographic Oceans (Yes) 6. A Passion Play (JT)
Very easy poll for me, actually. The first four are great; the last two are pretty average. But I have not listened to DSOTM in quite a while, so...

I'll be one of the weirdos who voted for TALES FROM TOPOGRAPHIC OCEANS as well. Of course i love every single one of these and i'd probably even choose A PASSION PLAY second. I love the hardcore stuff.

What a year ! Love them all (Well, ELP a little less, sorry) I had no turntable nor money to buy me any records but in the years to come ended up recording all of these from friends (on an old mono Grundig tape recorder, still have it )

It's a bit of a coin toss this one. Love most of these. Alright I went with the hare in the end. Brilliant album.

Tales > Larks' Tongues > Selling England > Dark Side > Brain Salad Surgery > Passion Play
Not surprisingly, that would also be the exact same order I'd rank the respective artists from favourite to least.

One of my favorite years and very difficult to chose one, but since I recently got a clean digital version of A Passion Play I have voted for that one.

All six are prog masterpieces. Only voted for TFTO to bump the vote up a bit.

Yo, ho, yo, ho A Passion Play for me! I do understand how 'Moon and 'Pound lead this thing, but I tend towards Larks' Tongues more often than those two. I always feel that 'Moon is best appreciated listening to in one sitting (and I just don't have that kind of time unless it's background noise), and 'Pound is a little staid in its approach (and points off for I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe).

Larks Tongues for me, the only 'classic' KC album that was basically a masterpiece throughout.
