Here's a fantastic instrumental post-rock/metal album that I've really been enjoying, even as someone who doesn't usually like either of those genres:

Been listening to electronic a lot lately actually (mainly wonky and bubblegum bass). That Blanck Mass album seems pretty neat. Definitely on the list.

I'm also enjoying Sampha's Process. Some pretty neat Alternative R&B with lyrics about the death of Sampha's mother. Great production and songwriting.

Listened to more new albums during the first quarter of the year than at any other point in my life. Pryapisme is definitely #1 at the moment with Djam Karet getting a lot of play as well.

On The Raw - Big City Awakes


Great jazz fusion out of Spain, combining the typical fusion sound with more electronic elements. Very tastefully done, with some great flute work.

Sure it is basically a pop album but it's wrapped up in all these gorgeous synthesizer landscapes and add to that: Garm's vocals have never sounded better.
Sorta like this long forgotten Japan album that got beautifully warped after too much musk in the vaults.
One of the best albums I've heard so far this year.

Though he is not on Progarchives, I highly recommend Sun Araw's newest album The Saddle of the Increate. All you folks, who enjoy experimental/psychedelic music, that does not sound like anything else out there, need to investigate this. You can listen to the whole album from here:
