Dagmar is VERY much an acquired taste... if that is all and find the music to your taste.. then don't let her stop you.. she can and likely will grow on you.
She isn't awful but she certainly is not the voice of the women from the Renaissance.

Well I loved her instantly, like a German angel descending from the clouds to give me eternal sunshine
Classical music isn't dead, it's more alive than it's ever been. It's just not on MTV.

Question, every other post I keep getting directed to a security check before my post goes through. Does anyone know how long this goes on? It is getting rather annoying.

Maybe, after you get comfortable with this type of music, you should listen to the others Henry Cow albums, they are only instrumental and more complex, but if you want to go all crazy go listen to Etron Fou Leloublan's second album LOL

no.. that she is not This is art.. and it does range from the classically gifted like Annie.. to those I outsing in the shower. Dagmar really works in the context of the music... put Annie in Henry Cow... ewwww... wouldn't work.

My youngest is a HS senior, he still wears concert shirts by Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, PF, King Crimson. Nobody other than his teachers know the bands, pretty funny.
When you are ready to get freaked out play some Can, albums like Tago Mago or Ege Bamyasi, that will for sure scare away all the Ariana Grande fans and make them weep in the corner like 2yr olds

Everyone else might shout me down for attempting to share modern avant but feel free if you want to skip 'developing tastes' and immediately dive into the cacophonous sh*t I constantly listen to.
Damn this thread had some wheels on it Anyway welcome aboard Hunting Girl. Most of us aren't your normal prog fan either. Folks on here dig everything from Madonna to Bob Dylan to Kendrick Lamar to freakin K-pop. I hope you'll stick around maybe find some new exciting music and preferably chit chat to a few proggy cats in the meanwhile. All the best from Denmark David

it wouldn't take much to scare off Ariana fans. Although many of my close friends are Ariana fans.

Awesome, I will be around mostly on the weekends because Mom limits my amount of Internet time on School Nights as I am usually busy with homework and other stuff.
