It isn't? Shocked

Nope, they're singing "Drive, Drive, Drive in the Autobahn" in German. Tongue

I was listening to Arena's Medusa yesterday and decided to look up the lyrics because I heard "belladonnic ears" for a long time and knew it was wrong. It's actually "belladonna kiss".

I just listened to this on youtube earlier today. I always thought it was "she's so popular." Smile

Abacab title track chorus. The word Abacab has always sounded like "I'm a c*nt" to me.

Moody Blues, Peak Hour sounds like "Freak Out!"

Deep Purple, Highway Star. "Ain't nobody gonna take my cow!"

they actually sing "wir fahr'n, fahr'n, fahr'n auf der Autobahn" meaning "we are driving, driving, driving on the autobahn". they leave out the "e" in "fahren" ("driving") which is quite common in colloquial speech

^ Autobahn is a superb album. Especially the last 2 tracks, which recall the spectacular Ralf & Florian album. My heart lies with the mind-blowing debut, with the fluoro Orange workman's cone (or 'witch's hat'......)

Tool - The Pot

I always hear "You masturbate so high" instead of "You must have been so high"

Listening to the song, I still don't think there is any way he isn't singing "douche"

Me too! Just like Hendrix sometimes singing, "excuse me while I kiss this guy," no doubt MM sang it that way on purpose...

Back on mid 80's rock radio, it was impossible to avoid Aerosmith, Van Halen, and Bon Jovi.   Every forth song!  I despised it, so I didn't pay attention.  I mistook  the lyrics, " You give love a bad name"  for "You need a love Band-Aid".

For years on end I was under the impression that Fish sang "Drowning in a liquid sea on the Piccadilly line, rat race" on Marillion's Fugazi rather than "Drowning in the liquid seize on the Piccadilly line, rat race". Knowing Fish's predilection for poetic turns of phrase, I thought "liquid sea" was a terribly unimaginative literal metaphor.

A pop song from the animated movie "Sing". Well, there's a song called "Venus". Well, there's a part were whe sings "I'm your Venus", but well, first time I heard in in the soundtrack I sort of heard "I'm your penus"... of course I knew I heard wrong, though.

I wonder if it's Shocking Blue's hit Venus? The funny thing is that the song was a huge hit in the USSR, but as the majority of the listeners did not speak English, the song became known as Shizgada, a corruption of the line "She's got it" in the refrain.

Yeah, that's the song, though it sounds different in that movie... with more modern sensibilities... yet, this version sounds much better for me, and still if you are distracted, or want to listen to it wrong, the misheard lyric could stand.
