I like both a lot, but my inclination is still towards GG as that is a favourite of mine off my favourite album by Gentle Giant. That said, the Explosions in the Sky track has the element of freshness to these mouldy old ears of corn, so I won't vote yet (I often favour new discoveries to old faves).

As much as I like GG's song, Explosions' is pretty good. It reminds me of one of Fripp and Eno's collaborations.
He looks at this world and wants it all... so he strikes, like Thunderball!

This forum is weird comparing a heavy prog band like GG and Explosion in the Sky (post rock)....  Oh well, each to their own..
