Nice album Thumbs Up

Radar Men From The Moon - Subversive I
The Grand Astoria - The Mighty Few
35007 - Liquid
October Equus - Saturnal
Lodestone - Time Flies

I just came across Les Lekin on YouTube yesterday and gave it a shot.
A Discogs seller that I have used often has the 180gr red vinyl version and I put it in my cart. Thumbs Up
You've played a few RMFTM now, what do you think?

That's great Thumbs Up

I listened to every album already and I'd say "Echo Forever" and the latest one are my favourites. I found difficult to listen to "Strange Wave Galore" despite being short, the production is too aggressive, very loud.

By the way, do you know that 35007 album? It's really fantastic and I saw it was reissued recently on blue vinyl Smile

The Muffins - Chronometers (1993)
Mythos - Mythos (1972)
Soft Machine - Fifth (1972)
Agitation Free - Second (1973)

Categories strain, crack and sometimes break, under their burden - step out of the space provided.

I like Intergalactic Dada & Space Trombones which was self released on CD only.

I'm not familiar with 35007 but I'll check it out today.

Only one, just three times in a row:

Black Sabbath - Never Say Die.

Why on Earth does this album have such a low rating?! It's not on the same level as their first five or six, but it's hardly like it's a total dud. There's less engaging moments here and there on it for sure, but not an actual terrible track on the whole album. A very worthy disc in the Black Sabbath discography.

Don't get me started man, I always thought of this album as just another great Sabbath album, it's here that I discovered it's not so popular. as a whole of course there are others I like more but I don't expect the band to deliver one masterpiece after the other, so this is just a natural continuation of their career, same goes for Technical Ecstasy.
And aside from that this album contains some of their best material, Air Dance is one of their best songs ever imo.

Yesterday:

John Carpenter - Lost Themes ll (even better than vol l)
La Fabbricca del'Assoluto - 1984 (gets better with every spin. Not completely sold on the vocals yet, but the music makes up for them tenfolds)
The Orb - Moonbuilding
Sun Ra - Space Is The Place
Alameda 5 - Dutch Tornado
Big Big Train - Folklore (These guys sound more and more like Gabriel era Genesis. Frontsinger definitely has a crush on the Gabe)
Black Mountain - IV (perhaps their finest ever release? Sure comes close imo)
DeWolff - Roux-Ga-Roux (best throwback album I've heard in years. Cue 1971. Sounds like Humble Pie, The Stones and a dozen other heavy psych blues rock bands coalesced into one tight locomotive. Their best album yet)

Yup and he just gave a concert in Copenhagen promoting it. Yours truly was of course at the other end of the country, so no John for me.
If you dug the first you'll definitely enjoy this.

If you dig more hard rocking and edgy bands from the old school RPI scene (Il Balletto di Bronzo, Metamorfosi etc) you will most likely come across something to your liking. They even nailed the production side of things, which imo is essential to making these types of retro albums work.

In the Future used to be my fave Black Mountain release, but it has got some serious competition with IV! One thing that has improved immensely is the chops. The guitar solos alone make this new album so much more interesting to me, and that's not just because I crave solos because I really don't, but some music, like Black Mountain's for instance, literally scream for them....and when they're delivered in the way they are on IV...well then I'm sold.
Also love the post punk vibe there is to some of the songs - reminds me of NEU's shorter tunes off the 75 album.
