The best way to explain what I am trying to do is to refer to a thread I'm working on, here:

For artists on this list that are included on the site, I'd like to have links from the thread that go to the band's home page (on progarchives).  Instead of having the link next to 'Ampacity,' for example, I'd like Ampacity simply highlighted, indicating a link, so a user can just click on Ampacity.
 
Maybe an overkill explanation of the question as I'm guessing one can get my meaning.
 
Probably limits that I'm still unaware of as I'm still trying to discover what's possible.
