Ummagumma, the easier because of the absence of Bryter Layter.

Not a fan of any of these titles, but Tago Mago is at least decent and sticks.

Üdü Wüdü. The title reminds me of a TV-ad for a German brand of peanuts called "Ültje" which had lots of "Ü"s in it too.

Tago Mago, which is an actual island right off of Ibiza where people might go to try and ride out nuclear armageddon like that which transpires in the course of the album.

not silly at all; you might as well say "silly English because they have no umlauts".

English speaking people tend to just leave them off and type "a", "o" or "u" instead of "ä", "ö" and "ü". this can however lead to serious misunderstandings. the best example is the difference between "geachtet" and "geächtet". "geachtet" means "well-respected" and "geächtet" means "ostracized", so just the opposite.

you might say: "but there are no umlauts on my keyboard". well, there is a solution: just add an "e" after the vowel to indicate you mean the umlaut. examples: for "hören" (hearing) you type "hoeren", for "Wächter"(guard) you type "Waechter". for "bügeln" (ironing) you type "buegeln". this is standard procedure in German and was introduced for typewriters that don't have umlauts
