According to the facts,a trilogy over 3 albums and a live album summary it's Riverside all that melody and no choruses. Clearly something to work on guys.

Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive

Kansas. Highly underrated band when you look past the popular singles
Take me down, to the underground
Won't you take me down, to the underground
Why oh why, there is no light
And if I can't sleep, can you hold my life

I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

I just want your secret to prog polling success..

Know your audience. Once in awhile tease them a bit but never scare them away. My polls are almost sociological/psychological experiments; sometimes I already have a good idea of what the results will be. The biggest reward is when someone actually discovers something that was previously unknown to them.

Some things I've noticed about the polls here;

- few read the poll question
- people will be unaware that a poll is multiple choice
- a few acts/albums will get all/most the votes (and not only Big 6/7/93 bands)
- proto/related acts in 'Prog Polls'
- you get a sense of what some members tastes are

bah....

add one more thing to your list of observations.. one proven many many times over 11 years here.

a thread/ poll by Micky will sink and die before reaching page 2 or getting 10 votes. LOL

This presumably applies to everyone who has selected their favourite band from the list in this poll.

Mind you, the question doesn't make much sense.

1. Egg!

Much more difficult to decide who comes second.
