Nice one, a bit roasty and a bit of a fruit smell....no harshness or overbearing flavors.

Yeah, it has some of the deeper character of darks but is very drinkable, very easy going.

Just got a free 6 pack of this.....I'll let you know how it is....
from Three Floyds, a local brewery....well known in the area and they have a reputation for interesting beers...including the famous Dark Lord Russian Imperial Stout. only available once a year.

Still no votes for Genny Cream Ale....poor Genny, she never gets any respect.  Guess you gotta give to get....and all Genny gives is a massive hangover and pimples (yeah, every time we drank Genny from a keg, the lot of us would get pimples the next day.....then again, I haven't had Genny since was 17.....and I haven't had a high school zit since I was 17.....coincidence?).

Give Yuengling shot, especially if you are in northeast Pennsylvania and can get it fresh.
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....

Never seen any 'Genny' cream ale but then never looked for any either.
I have had Yuengling...both the lager and the porter....good beer and the beer of choice of 'Repairman Jack', the hero of the novels by F Paul Wilson.

Yuengling is the oldest active brewery in the USA; I'm from the NE Pennsylvania region and Yuengling, Stegmeiyer, Genesee, Rolling Rock, Schmidts, and Gibbons were our local beers.....and NOBODY wanted to drink them.  They were just standard American lagers - watery and tasteless but they served their purpose to get the miners drunk cheaply.  With the microbrewery craze, some of these breweries upgraded their product and seriously improved their brew.  In fact, you can now find Yuengling on tap in London and Amersterdam.....you used to be able to find it only in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area of NE PA.

I'm too young to drink beer, nor will I ever in my life drink beer, but I think my parents have this...
Yeap, I see these lying around.
I've heard my parents tell me everyday to never drink and with the cases of drunk drivers and drunkenness, I'm kinda scared of them. I need a hug.
"There is a sacredness in tears. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love."
