Basically anything Swans has released can be a candidate for this thread. I get absolute chills listening to songs Some Things We Do, Sex, God, Sex, and The Sound.

Peter Hammill "The Fall of the House of Usher" in the 2nd version. especially the 6th act
also "Der Atommolch" by Guru Guru from the album "Hey Du!
especially if you understand the German lyrics.
translation of the lyrics:
"allow me, this is the German Atomic Newt speaking. I live in the neutron accelerator of the fast breeder at Kalkar. you brainless fools, turned down, dangerous is the cart you sit on. there will be more and more radioactivity. oh people, the things you are going to experience! first hundreds of thousands have to bite the dust before the financial fools will understand they have to change their minds, for else they will turn black at their own feet. but they build another nuclear plant in Frankfurt. and they build another three nuclear plants in Dortmund. and they build another five nuclear plants in Hamburg. and soon they will build a nuclear plant in your city. and they build, our smart ones - ha-ha-ha! fools, brainless fools, ha-ha-ha, ha-ha-ha, ha-ha-ha"

This music video is from Scary Movie, it's an instrumental track, quite good too, the album was added here on PA this year. The title says Scary Movie but somehow I don't think the band got the memo in Finnish what scary means
Nothing like a little Dogs Blood Rising to chill your bones. I once woke up to the sound of it as I often used my stereo as an alarmclock. The feeling of having David Tibet and the surrounding powerhouse of musical bleakness interweaving with one's dreams is nothing short of terrifying.

Besides those amazing records mentioned above, Karda Estra has numerous songs/albums--especially in their earlier and middle years--that are eerie as hell. Also, Battlestations most recent two albums are right up there!
