I can't find any recent info about his addition or when it happened.

I just noticed the thread in the Collab Zone. Surprised there wasn't more discussion about it (I'm not for or against btw).

The correct answer is April 11, 2015.

Buckethead was a three year-long, off-and-on discussion that occurred under three different Eclectic Prog Teams.  Finally I made the decision to propose him to Prog-Related (my first ever PR suggestion, I believe).

Great! Now we just have to get Matt Berry on the progarchives and then I'll be able to sleep at night. And while we're at it, how about William Shatner?

No, Leonard Nimoy first.

And I'm dead serious. Stern Smile

Well he has been making up for not being in PA for years by releasing mini album after mini album in 2015. Every time I get onto the site homepage their literally seems to be at least another new release from him lol. Now he is doing a 1 month countdown to Halloween series where every day he releases another 30 min album. Exclamation

I don't think I have ever seen anything like it!Shocked  HOW is he able to come up with so much material in so little time??? I have not tried his music yet but there seems to be a good amount of positive feedback, which is surprising as you would think the music quality would be low given how little time it takes for him to write new music. Has anyone tried any of these endless 2015 mini albums and are they any good?

I don't even want to go near that pile, LakeGlade. The guy is insane (has been for years - he had a chicken coop put up in the studio when recording with Guns 'n Roses), and seems to have reverted to the approach of 'if there is a large amount of music by my hand, the chance increases that there is something good in there'.

I agree. He is clearly utterly barking mad, and, just for once, I have no inclination at all to listen to what I have been missing.

Absolutely, it's the Barry Manilow Theory (or close to it): you write a million songs, one of them's gotta be a hit (though Buckethead should be tagged Obsessive rock).

I don't mind him here, the old PA conservatism is still going strong.  If it wasn't, we'd have every shredder that was ever featured on Guitar 9.
