'Cause you need to get yourself out there. Send demos to a local bar that hosts music. You might not be able to play Succubus Station stuff, but any good rock bar will host well put-together acts of any genre of rock music even if it's weird. Or you could do acoustic stuff somewhere. If you say that Conor Oberst likes Jandek you might get an acoustic gig doing Jandek covers.

i think there migfht be some bars here that let pretty much anyone play their stuff butt i'm nervous horse and can't sing or properly play an instrument k

going to a local bar with anything related to noise or drone could only really make for a very short awkward moment before an employee comes to take you down

If it has drums though, it becomes "noise rock" or "industrial." There are usually a few bars willing to play that.
