They have many good ones. Killers is the album I return to most often, so that ones gets my vote. The Number of the Beast, Powerslave and Somewhere in Time are close joint seconds though.

Voted for the cliché answer of Powerslave, maybe because that is the one I heard first? I'm kind of surprised that one is leading and not Seventh Son since I imagine that would appeal the most to progressive rock fans out of their classic albums.

After years listening to Maiden, only When the Wild Wind Blows sound interesting to me, so my vote goes to The Final Frontier.
Please, forgive my spelling and concordance mistakes. English noob here.

Crucify me - The X Factor is just AMAZING. My fave, just ahead of Powerslave for me.

I like X Factor, too, but sadly the following Virtual XI is their worst.

Number Of The Beast. One of the best albums of all time IMO. Hallowed Be Thy Name, Run To The Hills, The Prisoner... Not a bad song

toss up between NOTB, Powerslave, and 7th Son for me... those 3 albums are definitely my favs. I can't choose one.
I liked No Prayer For The Dying quite a lot, but didn't like Fear Of The Dark.

the blaze bailey albums were poor imo, even though I loved Blaze's other band Wolfsbane.

the albums since Bruce returned don't do it for me, although Brave New World is okay. find the rest draggy and boring. the latest Book Of Souls is hard to even listen to...

Easy for me. Somewhere in Time as I was still very much into heavy rock when it came out (I was 17) and although I had already started on the journey to progressive rock,  I still had one foot in the heavy rock camp. Plus it really felt that there were trying to do something new at the time.
Latest Results......... West Ham 7   Arsenal 3

Every Maiden album offers something new, whilst being 'business as usual' - at least they keep it fresh. They've always had their PROG influences, now, in the new millennium, they have virtually become Prog-Metal. I'm loving The Book Of Souls. Roll on, May 6..............I'll be the guy in the crowd in the Meshuggah T-Shirt

I shook my head and smiled a whisper knowing all about the place

Voted for the first. One of those great debut albums. But I suppose the most mature effort is Powerslave; Caveat; I don't know all the albums. I just compare the tight powerful hard rock of the Di Anno years with the extended epic works that define Powerslave and Piece Of Mind.

Never quite got behind the press push of Number Of The Beast. Thought that was a bit of a hype but I do think Hallowed be Thy Name is a good indication of things to come.

The Final Frontier I think would be a good album for prog rock fans though.

Somewhere in Time is the best, closely followed by Seventh Son of A Seventh Son.

Always believed Powerslave is overrated. It has its bright spots but it never worked for me as good as SiT/SSoaSS.
This night wounds time.
