No, not really. We got there a little after 7 pm, about an hour after they reopened the shop for the signing session, and I would say there were less than half a dozen people there. We did see a few people walking back to the carpark carrying copies of the album on vinyl so I guess there was a constant dribble of people rather than a mad crush. Then 101 Collectors Records is a tiny shop, one more person and it would have been crowded.
I was a little surprised he came here to promote the album at all, Farnham is a sleepy provincial town of some 40,000 people lost in a forgotten corner of Surrey. It's got an Art College but not much else, they converted an old Malt house into an arts centre and occasionally a band will play there - Renaissance are on next month (which reminds me, I must buy tickets). The record store's business is primarily in buying and selling second hand albums, but naturally they were selling brand new copies of Hand. Cannot. Erase. today. |

Not the first time that has been noted, someone on facebook incorrectly guessed David Coverdale... But yeah, less hipster than the round glasses I think.

Come rain, come shine. It's been a rough six months (and more to come), but I sure feel good about a lot of things right now - and it shows :-)
