The preceding album, Men's Needs, Women's Needs, is massively overrated. But with a detour to garage and added Marr, they have a truly great album here.

I remember I was young, driving with my dad somewhere in Southeastern Long Island, when "Do You Feel Like We Do" comes on the radio.

He told me "Peter Frampton! He makes his guitar talk!"

Life for me wasn't the same after that experience.Big smile

Did some research, Peter Frampton met Pete Drake, country music pedal steel guitarist, during the George
Harrison All Things Must Pass  session. Frampton was amazed with Drake's talk box which he had been using for years (Pete Drake And His Talking Steel Guitar). Drake gave the talk box to Frampton (I'm sure he had more at home).

^ Indeed. And so Frampton spent a whole month focusing on learning how to use it. The results are impressive.

Is it just me, or does YMG's use of drum machine take as much from Suicide as they note they took from Eno and Kraftwerk?
