Punk came around at the the time prog was really peaking. The crappy prog was made when then the prog artists tried being more commercial. Giant For A Day, for example. I like that album more than I used to BTW. I don't get the metal as prog that has happened to this site since I've joined. Then again, a lot of non-prog genres have embraced a little prog here and there as their formulas have become stale... |

I turned sixty-five last October which means I was twelve years old when the British Invasion hit the US.
That was a great time to start collecting albums because I was buying the "classics" as soon as they hit the record store.
