I don't try to fit my poems into songs since I haven't really written any songs in months. If I do, it'll only be one line then diverge from the original poem.

Yeah, I always feel a little puny in comparison to my favorite poets. But most of my favorites just got that way by writing all the time.

I usually like the gist of almost all of mine, but find that they all need a lot of work. It maybe even that I like two lines and use them in something else.
