Why Magma biographers, reviewers (http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=646) write "peace" for "piece", "languish" for "language"...?
Kobaļan influence?
Peace.

^ I guess it's Dutch influence, quite forgivable if English is not one's native language.

Anyway, thanks, I've peplaced "peace" with "piece" in the bio.
If you don't like "languish" you can contact the reviewer who used this word. Smile

This is an international site, and as long as people write reviews in a language that people can understand even though it“s not perfect or grammatically correct, I“m pretty sure the owners of the site (who themselves are second language English speakers), condone those kinds of reviews. Personally I think it would be great if people pointed out my grammatical errors, so I could correct them, but I“m not sure others would take it the same way.

Wow, that was fast! Thanks.

Yeah, it's always sensitive to make language remarks, hence my failed attempt of humoring it up.

In general the language level is quite good in the bios and reviews (including Magma's) so maybe that's precisely why these particular mistakes struck me.

BTW the mistakes were homophones. Miracle cure: read more (Poe, Neville, Adams, Dick, Heinlein, Asimov, King James...)

If you'll find other grammatical errors in bios, please report them (by your choice, with or without humour) in this thread: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=82726, we'll gladly correct them. Smile

^ Obviously, cyrillic "p" sounds like latin "r". LOL
