I'd call them post-punk, but they aren't your usual tight, Interpol-y post-punk revival kind of thing. Here's a track of their new album:

I can see that, yeah. It's not as "heavy" as post-hardcore in concept, but it's pretty intense and the singer kinda sits in a hardcore-y netherworld between singing and shouting.

Sweet. I liked the simultaneous rapping a lot. Like a darker, weirder version of Odelay-era Beck.

If he, Kevin Martin, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Michael Gira, and Will Toledo made an album I would be on that album cause I'd break into the recording studio and scream until I collapse from exhaustion.
