Time to say goodbye to rock music for a couple of years. I'm now getting back into jazz after a six year hiatus. Bon voyage everyone. All the best to everyone.

Haha... ![]() I've been heavily influenced by jazz and it puts my mind into a completely different headspace. You might say that it's my preferred musical genre. I love classical and prog rock, but my heart really belongs to jazz. The music fits my personality and there's so much to explore and listen to in jazz. I'll still peak in from time to time and, hell, I might even stick around for prosperity. I'm sure we've got some jazz fans here.

I have no idea about that one, Catcher10. A 'Jazz Archives' would certainly be cool.

As long as there's some jazz fans floating about, then, yeah, I'll definitely be sticking around.

Thanks for the link, Dayvenkirq. It looks like there's not much activity on that forum.

MAGENTA - The Twenty-Seven Club.....
........been obsessing over this album for the last year practically........ One of finest Prog performances on LP I've heard for some time ; superb keys and bass, amazing guitar and mind-blowing drumming, and the greatest female vocals, of course, from Christina Booth. Annie Haslam is superb, no doubt, but for my taste, the instrumental backing for Booth just takes the cake for me ........ Rivals classic Yes for sure....... ![]() One of the few "post-black metal" groups that instead of using progressive art music to make black metal more cerebral and intellectual instead use black metal influence to make the former darker and more deranged. With astounding results. Edited by Toaster Mantis - September 07 2014 at 04:06 |
