Same here, except I only know 3 of them.

Come on - Swans.

To Be Kind is flawless.

Have only listened the latest by Opeth,Anathema & IQ...
Still can't see anything else surpassing 'The Road Of Bones' this year.

I know NONE of these albums. I listened to the new TA album once when it came out. I'll investigate the bands/albums if I can.

I plan on checking out the Opeth album very soon now

Pain, that is what this poll causes me, pain . . .

I love 'The Road of Bones' it's an absolutely fantastic album and I really want to vote for it . . . but . . . Holy smokes, Motorpsycho is fantastic too and it pains me to see that it has no votes.

I'm going to give it a few days and listen to the ones that I haven't heard yet and see if the luster falls off Motohpsycho but there are indeed some good ones out there.

. . . and also, Ziltoid 2 will be out next month.

I've only heard Kaleidoscope and Heretics in full, so I'll abstain from voting for now as none of them really tickled my fancy.
I've heard snippets of the new IQ album though, and it sounds pretty good (although I still think it feels like Ever with better recorded keys;). I'm obviously guessing, but I strongly suspect To Be Kind ending up as my vote (at least out of this bunch).

Haven't heard Motorpsycho and Anathema, but the rest are really good (maybe except for Logos). Check Anubis, Arlekin, Mostly Autumn and amazing Scandinavian guy called FreddeGredde

IQ, The Road of Bones.

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.

For me personally, the Logos album has been far ahead of just about every other of these titles, so that will get my vote. But damn that IQ one is a knockout, I have no doubt it will end up being considered THE album of the year.

Out of this list that I have, the Transatlantic has been the tired dud of the year (without actually being a terrible album), and the latest Opeth more or less sounded exactly like I expected it to, so no real surprises at all. Well played and sounds nice though, but just the band playing to their already proven strengths?

Of the discs I have listened to, Pale Communion is an easy pick. Most disappointing to me thus far this year is a toss up between Anathema and Gazpacho. Both feel like rehashes of previous work. IQ, good disc. Runs a bit long to my taste and neo-prog is not my favorite sub genre...
