No, our singer was pretty bad (I hope he does not read PA LOL). And for quite a long time we did not have a singer so I did the vocals, and when we had the singer I did backing vocals. I could sing in time and in tune but my timbre and range suck, but OK, for our amateur purpose it was alright, we didn't do gigs. Of course having to sing while playing may sometimes hinder a bit the playing quality but OK, it was good enough to have good fun.

Mostly Jazz and popular music, but I have to say that I did not pick up much of his Jazz music. At the same time my older sisters-brother-cousins were already playing late 60's rock and I became more attracted to it than to my parent's Jazz.
