The drawn-out droning hypnotic rhythms that form the backbone of the compositions here are familiar from Neu! and Kraftwerk, but the specific textures are very unique and help much creating the same kind of underwater voyage feeling that the cover art suggests. A fantastic album to relax to.

Santana Borboletta, what a great album, when you reach Promise of a fisherman you can feel your spirit uplift, awesome, I encourage everyone to give this record a chance, play the thing on it's entirely, and change the way you see Santana for good.

It may sound a bit dated at times, but after a while it will drag you where it wants.

Is it just me or did Budgie start the entire "heavy metal band mascot" thing with their bird-man character who appears on most of their album covers in some form?
