Drums too loud, lead guitar too low in the mix.  Sound familiar?

The Priest concert sounds really good. I don't have any other live DVDs from them though so hard to compare. Different guitarist, but still really good.

The Priest one is fun to watch. I am intrigued by the new Dio one. That is on the Wish List.

I've worked my way through the 9 CDs in the Henry Cow "On The Road" box sets so it's time to give the DVD a go. Looking forward to the 17 minute "Living In The Heart Of The Beast". Violin

Henry Cow was great - a 1976 concert with 3 men and 3 women (including bass) which must be unusual for prog. The music was a good variety from improvisatory noises to heavy rock bits and some of the musicians had 5 or 6 different instruments. The stage presence was somewhat odd though as the music was so complicated they all had to sit down and really concentrate - you could see a player getting ready for their next passage by starting to move rhythmically in the time signature they were about to play in, not an easy task when it wasn't the same as the predominant one. Well, Dagmar was standing to sing, but she had her eyes closed and didn't actually move.

Yeah. Beneath the Surface was done Really well.
Mangini is pretty ridiculous on drums huh? I remember how fast he was (still is) on those annihilator albums.
