Killer album. This album has grown on me in a huge way over the past few weeks.

I think this album had some of Alex's wildest solos with exception of maybe The Big Money being a bit more conventional than the rest. I wish around the time this album came out they would have done a complete live recording of it, because I really feel that every song is a miniature masterpiece, but I feel very strongly about their 'synth period' in general. Some of the best music of it's time IMHO. Sure, there were several groups doing some interesting things (The Police, King Crimson for example), but this album just seemed to come 'out of nowhere'. I always viewed it as rather emotionally chilly album, but I have warmed up to it considerably after reading several comments here at PA of how people hold this album in high regard. This is apart of what prompted me to give it a reconsideration and I'm glad I did.

This one has always been magical for me. It was their first album that I bought as a new release and this was the first tour that I saw them live on. |

I'll have to give Presto another listen as I remember years ago when I heard for the first time being quite underwhelmed with it. Perhaps have changed? We shall see...
