Simple: Best: The Power to Believe. Worst: Construkction of Light I really don't bother with the older albums much anymore. People move on.

Which one? The Starless And Bible Black one of the ratings as a whole? For the former, I wasn't too fond of the improvs (outside of "Trio"). For the latter, the ratings were based on the album rating system this site uses. Edited by KingCrInuYasha - July 17 2014 at 13:17 |

Let's see:
1. In the Court 2. Red 3. Lark's Tongues 4. Lizard 5. Thrak 6. Discipline 7. In the Wake 8. Islands 9. Three of a Perfect Pair 10.Starless 11.Power to Believe 12.Beat 13.Construction of Light 14.Scarcity of Melodies Only 14 do I truly not like. All of the first 10 I love and 11-13 all have their moments as well. That last one (I know it wasn't officially called a Crimson album, but that's what it was) was a real stinker. |

Oops, missed this from a while ago! Poseidon gets rounded up to a 3 from slightly below, Power and Court get a 4, Lizard and SABB are each a 4.5 rounded up, LTIA a solid 5, and Red is the best ever album ever ever ...ever. Edited by Neo-Romantic - April 24 2014 at 22:19 |

Five stars:
Red ITCOTCK Four stars: ITWOP Lizard Islands LTIA Thrak The power to believe Three stars: Starless & Bible black Construktion of light Beat Three of a perfect pair Discipline A consistently very good band. I think their output in the 90's and beyond was better than anything any other classic era prog band released at that time. |

Larks Tongues in Aspic
Starless and Bible Black Red Thrak Lizard The Construktion of Light Three of a Perfect Pair In the Court of the Crimson King The Power to Believe Discipline Beat Islands In the Wake of Poseidon I've left out live albums as there's just so many that it rather clouds the issue of best new material etc |

Thank God someone else puts Court at the (near) bottom. The issue now is, how low is your bottom? Rating wise.
