I've always liked The Witches Promise, but that never seems to get mentioned much around here.

A tune with a magical quality, and one of my favorite acoustic songs.
...a vigorous circular motion hitherto unknown to the people of this area, but destined
to take the place of the mud shark in your mythology...

A Passion Play

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.

Good Godmother

Great track from 1974
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

Nothing is easy, such as voting for one of these essential Jethro songs. But APP it is (it's a song?) Who knew? ;) Always thought Tull never quite made enough of We Used To Know. It's a great tune but they could have done so much more with it. Eagles hint with their Hotel California though.... could have been other and Rainbow Blues, Moths (exquisite), Whistler, Sossity... oh. Best stop now. What a band.

Well, A Passion Play is my favorite album, but in terms of shorter, more song-y songs, I absolutely love the title track from Heavy Horses. Superb musicianship all around, great melody, moving sentiments, and exquisite lyrics that are actually about something real. Not another sappy love song, but a touching tale of the decline of agrarianism in the wake of mechanization. A perfect tune, that.

Didn't even have to look at the list.
