Just my two cents.

Really though.

Svetonio, you're on direct course to get banned. It seems like you enjoy the site to some degree, so I suggest you knock off your arrogant, elitist bullsh*t and step in line. We're on this site to enjoy music. for god's sake, not bicker about how different bands didn't influence other bands. It's the god damn history of the music we all listen to and you're denying it because you're butthurt.

If you think prog related is a way for us admins to "manipulate" bands we like into being on the site, you're sorely misinformed. Continue your tirade of high-brow nonsense and you won't be seen around here for a while.

If you think I'm bullying you, good, because you've been a detriment to this site for far too long.

You remind me of the Annunaki weirdos.

We all give reasons and you don't want to listen them...Your only answer is

The Administrators have only be kind with you.

They have allowed you to have a free propaganda thread and they don't receive a dime for their work.

The only person manipulating here is you, you make all this scandal in order to have arguments to add Bandcamp bands.

I honestly doubt you work in Bandcamp for free, so they get no benefit for allowing or not a band in Prog Related, but you most likely do.

Iván

BTW: You didn't replied this part of my post:

And even if all of them (The bands you list) were wrongly added (Not the case), one mistake doesn't justify another mistake.

I will ask you something: If you hit a door and get a purple eye Ouch...Do you hit the door with the other eye to make it even?

I hope you don't.

Well, if a band is added by mistake, we don't add another one that shouldn't be here to make it even.

Except in this series, there won't be a third feature.

Almost. It is not bullsnot, it is not false, but we do control what gets added to the site in the Prog Related category. We do not deny this, we do not hide this, it is not a secret. We are not Rate Your Fu*king Music dot com. So if you want to call that manipulation then that is your prerogative, however it is not you prerogative to be pejorative.

Read my Previous Post very carefully, get a grown-up to explain it to you if necessary, then button your flappy lip:

 Prog Related has the potential of being the largest single category in the Progressive Archives,

if we were to add every band and artist that produced music that could be interpreted as being related to Progressive Rock (and all its subgenres) then it would contain more artists than all the "true" Progressive Rock subgenres put together.

It would dominate the site and we would become the Prog Related Archives or more accurately, The Quite Good Music Archives.

To be blunt: Rate Your Music does that far better than we do, but that's okay, we do not want to be a General Music Review site

 - we simply cannot compete with a megalith like RYM, we survive because we are niche and we can only remain niche by being selective in the Prog Related artists we add.

So, how do we assess that selectivity?

By following the Prog Related definition found on the genre page as closely as is practical.

Of course every person who suggests an artist believes their case to be special, that their artist meets all those criteria and then some,

but it is the Admin Team who decides whether the artist is to be added,

and they use their knowledge, judgement and experience weighed against the PR criteria and the overall benefit to the PA in reaching a decision.

Many artists are worthy of addition but not all will be accepted.

That was never true, ever.  It's clear you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

Well speaking as someone pro Buckethead edition, but not hostile, I think Eclectic Prog would be a good a fit.  Say no more. Big smile  Other than...

Don't make fun of the guy's bucket, now Angry LOL

NOTICES

Bucketheadland security has discovered that some kids have been sneaking into the park by climbing down a cemetery drainage system and through a hole in the fence behind the junkyard. This is a great new way to enter the park if you can get past Curtis.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

Another reminder: guests are not allowed to break into the animatronics workshop and fill the characters' bellies with raw meat and sheep intestines. There seems to still be some confusion over this policy judging by last week's events.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

no longer permittedDue to recently uncovered copyright restrictions, Bucketheadland is no longer able to employ the man dressed in the Leatherface costume. If you see him in the park please contact Bucketheadland security immediately

* * * * * * * * * * * *

The Atomic Robotcoaster in Robotland was damaged beyond repair last week during a duel. Buckethead played a brief acoustic melody as the bucketbots laid her to rest in the Bucketheadland Cemetery. Out of respect for her family, Buckethead asks that she not be dug up for at least two weeks. We appreciate your cooperation in this sensitive matter

* * * * * * * * * * * *

Some of our animatronic characters are missing (specifically two pirates, the piano player, a large bat and a small arm) . If you see any that look lost, contact a park employee.We don't expect them to harm anyone, but hey, better safe than sorry

* * * * * * * * * * * *

Bucketheadland would like to apologize for the whole escaped ferris wheel fiasco. We are doing everything within our power to stop it from rolling.
