Hi!

We are ALGABAS, the band from the ancient Russian town Vladimir, and we play music which is Neo Progressive Rock with elements of Heavy Prog and Russian traditional music.

ALGABAS organized in Vladimir a lot of musical festivals including two-day (26-27 May 2012) "Art- Progressive-Concept" featuring such bands as Big Second (Kiev, Ukraine), Kostarev Group (Moscow, Russia), Quorum (Moscow, Russia), The Pravednicks' Band (Saint-Petersburg, Russia) etc. Furthermore, we played 25 th December 2012 at "Prog Day" festival in Moscow, and 5 th October 2013 at 20 th annual "Belomor Boogie" festival in Arkhangelsk.

At this moment ALGABAS has completed debut full-length studio album "Angels and demons". Songs from it can be listened to here:

Yea it's really great stuff and, imho, it's between Neo and HP.
Hey rdtprog, don't you think that with this stunning release, the Algabas deserved an eval for addition in PA?
If your Team is not willing to eval the Algabas because they are unsigned  ("an amateurish bandcamp band" as some people like to say LOL ) , maybe you would to toss this in Neo thread because Neo Prog Team, as far as I know,  is to accept the unsigned bands with a digital album, without physical CD; when it's a good stuff, of course.

Sure it deserve an evaluation in HP. As for the "unsigned" tag, i don't think it we follow this procedure because there many independent artists that have been added in HP, but those Algabas are certainly not an amateurish band.

Of course they aren't.
This "signed / unsigned" dilemma regarding contemporary prog bands is increasingly meaningless with every album as Angels And Demons aswell.

These sort of snipe comments about PA and how it works are getting tiresome Svetonio - especially coming from a guy who doesn't want to help out. You're quite capable of using the English lingo whenever you're defending yourself and the hundreds of bands you've suggested, but when we ask for a bio, you can't be bothered.
We've had this discussion now a couple of times, and unless you start working with the site, you are not entitled to pass judgement on it.

Svet, PA has specific rules about signed and unsigned bands and I have not seen a band being rejected just because it is on bandcamp.

Algabas has 2 Yes votes for a addition in the Heavy Prog genre, it's a question of time...
