Bandcamp is really just another method of distribution. It makes it easier for indie bands to release music that they want to release, not what the record companies want them to release.

Well, Blind Tigers provided me with a diverting half hour at lunch. All in all, I think the Rogan Josh was rather tastier, thoughLOL

I rather enjoyed the opening two tracks, but found the whole thing too Indy rock for my tastes. Sure, there are some psyche passages, with clear references to Floyd, but I, for one, would not classify them as a progressive rock band.

That is not really the point. I listened to them, and am none the worse for the experience of listening to new music.

If Svetonio can provide a description for all the bands he recommends, I might spend plenty more diverting lunch hours. I might even buy something I enjoy!

Yes, they are good, know how to play, but the pínk Floyd references (Not the Psyche era) are too obvious.

Good but not great.

^you say it so much better than IApprove

I will report back tomorrow evening on what I think of this band.

At the end of the day, it is a better way to spend half an hour than my usual Wednesday lunchtime, which is, of course, the Dave & Ed show from the Houses of W@@@@rs.

Happy days.

The purpose of this forum is to discuss music, it is not a site to plug and promote all and sundry, we are not www.free-ads.com - this is not a Gum Tree, nor is it an e Bay.

If a thread does not encourage discussion and is only used to plug random artists then it should be moved to "Get The Word Out" - or locked - or deleted - because it is, by definition, Spam.

Posting a cover picture, a link and subgenre is never going to prompt discussion. It is, by definition, Spam.

Without telling us what it is you are "selling" it may just as well be tins of processed pork for all the difference it makes.

However, as ably demonstrated this evening, a little discussion about a Bandcamp Recommendation works wonders - pique someone's curiocity, get them to listen to the music, engauge with them. Start a conversation, inspire some interest, motivate yourself before you try to motivate others...

TELL US WHAT YOU THINK OF THE MUSIC

...and we will respond, some of us will even listen and tell you what we think.

How much better would that  "thank you" from a grateful artist be then? Much better than them giving an empty reply thanking you for merely mentioning their name and saying fu*k-all about their music.

An unique and delicious psych cookie.
Bon appetit!

I simply don't have your patience.

I would had closed the thread and banned that spammer troll long ago

And this reply is a  prove of this.

Iván

PS: BTW: Blind Tigers is terribly described as Psyche

It's a blend of Indie, Hard RockPsychedelia, ambient and Electronic Rock, reminds me of a light version of Alan Parson's Project "I Robot" but wirth less originality.

Has a good track called Civil War III

BTW II: Ther tag in Bandcamp says  rock ambient dub electronica experimental rock improvisationkrautrock live music omnichord pop psychedelic rock Ohio
