Bravo Bob!  You were the person I first approached about being a collaborator, and you have been the person I first approached for most issues, because you have always been approachable.  Best of luck in retirement, and thank you!!

I never got to know Bob as an admin, but I've read a truck load of his reviews and he is without a doubt one of the shining beacons of the PA front-pageClap

Oh yeahErmm Rightio..... the place where volunteers offer up their spare time for zero benefit to evaluate new music being proposed for the site, write bios, add albums, deal with trolls, erase bogus spammers, write reviews and generally just running the site? Got yaWink Nice one and thanks for the support!

Great reviewer, always very civil and a voice of reason.

Enjoy putting your feet up - you'll be missed.

Excuse me?  The CZ is simply a collection of threads where volunteers give their free time to work on content addition, nothing more.  It's not some party.  There is no compensation for it.  Even those who get promo CDs set up those arrangements on their own....it is not provided by the PA.

Honestly Greg and Bora, if you think these PA folks are snobs and jerks, it just shows how little you know about the place.  They are a very nice bunch of guys and I miss them alot.

Hey Finnforest.
Please, don't quote me on terms I haven't used! Ouch
A bit of accuracy would be in the order.
Honestly, I am not amused.

Your tone was clear enough in several entries, and quite wrong.  But you're right, I shouldn't have direct quoted you.

Dear. oh dear...
Making an observation is one thing, but naming people is not the least appropriate. Especially on a thread about Bob, a great diplomat.

Your defensive tone confirms the observations you find objectionable. Namely that Bob was a terrific moderator for ALL and not only for a select few in the Collab Zone. Yet, none of the "elite" bothered with a single note in this Forum until I started this thread. Nothing criminal about that, it only highlights the "them and us" approach you seem to deny.

BTW, in my previous incarnation I used to be a Special Collab and know very well what goes on behind the scenes concealed from the rest. So please, fair go!

Whatever....your "tribute" to Bob contained some chip on your shoulder..  That's your prerogative.  But when you make veiled generalizations about some very good people who don't deserve it, expect a little pushback.  Your implications that the collabs are egoists and "elites"-most of  whom won't engage others in the forum, are false.
