To buy all CDs on opening day or not...
At the very least I will need Sing to God and A Little Man...

Great news! I'm singing to God right now, that's how happy I am.
Anybody care to copy the details and post them in this thread for us who doesn't have a FB account?
And does this mean Tim Smith's health has improved? I'm not up-to-date with recent Cardiacs activities and news.

There you go:
Hello Everyone,
It's Sharron here. Mary has asked me to make an important announcement:
The news you've all been waiting for is here! The Cardiacs shop will reopen on August 15th, 2013. There will be CDs, Vinyl and clothing for sale. Since it has been closed for five long years, we anticipate huge demand so a request for your patience is made as it may take some time to process orders, initially. Needless to say, we will be working around the clock to get your shopping to you as quickly as possible. At first, the shop will be run from cardiacs.net. When the website reconstruction is completed, it will return home to cardiacs.com. We will keep you posted.
That's it. Tune in to Marc Riley on BBC 6Music tonight to hear more...
Best wishes to you all.
About his health, here are some words from the great man himself:
Hello Kidz! (You will notice that I spelled the word kidz with a 'z'). I have been bowled over and knocked back by the outpourings of love, posted on here. Every one of them. You have no idea what this means. Really though. While I would love to respond to each message, you are doubtlessly aware, my body is my enemy and my hands are c**ts. Nonetheless it means the world to me, thank you all so much. I am truly blessed.
It seems that his condition itīs still pretty much the same

Should I take a leap of faith and buy some Cardiacs without having heard them (other than one video a year or two ago), or should I listen first? I was thinking Little Man and Sing To God, which seem to be the favorites.

Last week I noticed that Cardiacs store was back online
after being out of stock for several years. So I gave it a go and
ordered a few physical copies of the albums that I cherish so much. Yesterday I finally got my package:

I love these guys. They are my new favorite band and I'm convinced that the "The Duck and Roger the Horse" is one of the greatest songs in prog. So much zaniness and creative brilliance on display here and so, so unique. My experience with listening to them is just like I felt when I heard Frank Zappa for the first time - instant connection. Buy their records and wear their shirts - they are one of the most underrated bands I know of.
