Paying rent's a smart move when running a business, I've always thought.

As a general rule, you will stay in business longer if you pay the rent.

why q.m.
It was kind of a joke.  My work day isn't done yet but my desire to work is.
O.I.C. Thought you had to work overtime or something. I know that feel. I always want to go home early on a Friday. Heck, I wish every Wednesday was Friday.

[QUOTE=rushfan4][QUOTE=HolyMoly][QUOTE=The Bearded Bard]Yeah, I see your point, Scott, and I somewhat agree, but jazz rock and fusion artists did, to some degree at least, contribute to the development and evolution of progressive rock, didn't they?

Thanks for your input, guys. I'll probably suggest them someday very soon.
No doubt.  From my simplistic viewpoint, Progressive Rock is essentially rock music that is/was combined with either classical music structures or rock music that is/was combined with jazz instrumentation and structures.  Thus, I can see where jazz rock/fusion has its place on PA, per se.  I think for me, the fine line comes in to play with some sort of arbitrary judgement of the amount of rock quotient.    I suppose I look at a rock band adding jazz elements as falling under the progressive rock umbrella, whereas a jazz band adding rock elements, I may be less likely to consider as falling under the progressive rock umbrella.  (I suppose that a jazz band adding rock elements is the very definition of fusion. LOL).
Sounds reasonable.

Well at least I have a conference call in 20 minutes that will help the time fly by. Dead

What kind of sucks too is that our neighborhood is showing another movie by the pool tonight, and by default I'll need to go through the hassle of setting up the projector and all that, and I've gotten so sick of the pool that it makes me physically ill to be near it.

A man shouted frantically into the phone, "My wife is pregnant, and her contractions are only two minutes apart!"

"Is this her first child?" asked the dispatcher.

"NO!" he exclaimed, "this is her husband."

If Cameron goes to bed at 5:30 AM and gets out of bed at 8:30 AM, how many hours of sleep does she get? Trick question, she doesn't sleep.

Perhaps going to bed earlier would help her, but probably not.

We hired a breathing coach when we had our home birth.  When my wife went into labor, I was to call the lady so she could drive here (she was two hours away).  I dialed and got a generic cell phone voice mail message.  I left my message, "My wife is in labor, and we're ready for you to come."  An hour later, I called again, because it was getting more intense.  "We are definitely ready for you to come by.  My wife's in labor, dilated at 4cm, blah blah blah."  All sorts of details.

How about I was transposing two digits in the phone number?  Pinch

Someone, somewhere, got two very interesting messages on their cell phone.
