Watching K-On! reminded me of the quieter more character driven episodes of MLP.

My favorite mahou shoujou series is Madoka Magica, personally.

I just saw the CAMRIP (I couldn't contain myself), my thoughts for what I could see because the camera couldn't capture the whole screen:

The movie is ok, the joke's were good, the songs weren't the best work of Ingram (not as memorables as the ones in the show, the MMC songs were better), the plot was a little bit rushed. The idea has so much potential but instead of it Hasbro only wanted a 71 min doll ad, they could do better with at least 90min (the average length of an animation movie), more development for Sunset Shimmer, Flash Sentry (a.k.a. Brad) and the parallel world's stuff (including a logical explanation for the high school thing). Still is a funny movie with a lot of references and... SPOILER ALERT Derpy at the end of the credits XD.  I could extend this to make a review but I would have to spoil some stuff, so I just give it a 6.5 or 7 out of 10 right now. Still I would wait until the DVD is released so I can watch it properly and have a better idea of what I just saw.

And of course, the show is not doomed Wink.

The reason I'm waiting is because I don't trust the quality of those kinds of rips :P

I'm not really worried about it ruining the show or anything, but I'll probably be somewhat disappointed that they didn't do something more interesting, from what I've read on the MLP subreddit.< id="bpm-darkle"> < id="bpm-invert">

I saw a link to that while reading the other one. I didn't read it yet though. It did confirm my suspicion that crookedtrees was a big influence on him, though.

Ture, it does fare quite well as an ending. I guess my problem is that I love it so much and want him to do more with the characters/setting. I suppose he could make an alternate blog from AJ's perspective.

I do too.
I've not read any AJ grimdark stuff yet. It doesn't seem like it would work well with her character.
