I'd buy the CD, but the shipping costs are ridiculous to my country.

Anyway, you have something special here mr. Bonestorm!

I enjoyed the opening track and the album artwork is awesome.

If you made the album an animation along with the narratives and music, it would be even more powerful. I have not stopped thinking about the album concept since hearing it twice today. I cant wait to hear it again, it is mesmirising and compelling, and opens up so many questions such as - what is the final state of the main protagonist? What is Janes part in all this? Is she part of The Machine Corporation? If so, what is to become of her and her husband? What are all the flashes of memory and soundbites that the protagonist hears? Is this another life or something more sinister? Who is in charge of the corporation and what work do they do? Why does the protagonist need a mechanical hand and leg, and what exactly does he do that is so important? The most potent question of all are we part of the corporation and we do not even know it?

Thanks for such an amazing thought provoking album. It is a masterpiece of prog merging music and concept beautifully.

Thanks Thanos!

Yes I've definitely considered doing something like that for the album.  I'd love to hook up with an animator or artist and work on either a short film adaptation or a visual companion for the album.  Finding the time and resources to get it done is another matter!  Wink

Played that track on yesterday's show Big smile; any thoughts of making this a short movie? the concept is intriguing Wink

my favourite track must be "Losing Touch"

This sounds so fascinating, i love the Post-Rocky band Enablers, and they utilize spoken-word as well. So far it sounds great, the vocals aren't melodic like Enablers but like you said the cast sounds great. Rowan sounds like Daniel from Amnesia: The Dark Descent. LOL

Downward is fantastic! Thumbs Up

Hi all, please allow me to introduce my new solo project 'Hibernal'.  Please check it out if you get a chance and let me know what you think.  I've included the blurb below.  :)

http://hibernal.bandcamp.com/album/the-machine

The Machine is Hibernal’s debut album.  Mixed by Mark Healy, mastered by Rowan Salt, and featuring the voice talents of Rowan Michaels, Samantha Béart and Robert Blythe.

The Machine interweaves spoken word with instrumental music pieces to tell a compelling storyline that unfolds throughout the course of the album.  Featuring a professional voice talent cast and an original music score, The Machine is an immersive and powerful musical experience that draws the listener in and won’t let go.

This is a unique prog rock journey that explores the themes of ambition, sadness and our choices in life.  All of this is told through crunching hard rock riffs, heart-wrenching melodies and soaring guitar.

The Machine is about the choices that we make in our lives, the directions in which these decisions take us, and the influences we have on the people around us as we choose our paths.  The Machine is about identity, and about being true to oneself.

Synopsis: A man climbs the corporate ladder inside a powerful company, but finds that with each promotion he must sacrifice a part of himself.

Released: March 6, 2013
