^ Baked (egg) custard is pretty universal around the world, creme caramel would be the French name, we call it caramel custard when we're not being pretentious.

Portuguese pasteis de nata are a favourite of mine - they don't look pretty but they taste rather fine.

What?

How is pumpkin pie not a pie, again?

Technically  it is a tart as it has no lid.

Flan alert..

I think flan is different here than the states.
I  think  a flan is similar to a tart but it has a sponge base?

I know, I was just throwing another option into the ring for us to chew on..

Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

You do pie poll and then you include stuff that you say aren't actual pies by your own admission.  What the heck is wrong with you? LOL
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Pecan pie without question.

A classic apple lattice pie is nearly unbeatable.

Chocolate pudding pie is also delicious, and pumpkin pie is a lovely seasonal dessert.

I'm not  vegetarian of any kind, but I can't stand any pie containing meat. My preferred pie is a yummy, scrumptious Banana Cream pie (with caramel).
