Topic: "P" Prog Albums Posted: April 26 2013 at 12:05 |
Here's another alphabetical prog album list, this time albums beginning with the letter "P". There are several interesting competitions in this poll. 1) Which Peter Gabriel to choose? 2) Which version of "Pictures at an Exhibition" to choose? For those wondering, Kuzuhito Yamash*ta is a classical guitarist who recorded an amazing interpretation of the piece. What Keith Emerson did with "Pictures..." on keyboards, Yamash*ta did on classical guitar. 3) Which version of PFM's classic do you prefer, Italian or English vocals?
Remember this is a multiple poll so vote for all your favorites!
Have fun...

And...Tomita is not on PA. I think I have suggested him for Progrssive electronic years ago but he has been rejected.

The Genesis alums are on the top for me here: PG3 followed by Please Don't Touch. After that, Rush and Brand X.

I am currently digging:
Hawkwind, Rare Bird, Gong, Tangerine Dream, Khan, Iron Butterfly, and all things canterbury and hard-psych. I also love jazz!
Please drop me a message with album suggestions.
