The main reason I bought that album was the Roger Dean cover.  I think I've only listened to the album once or twice.

I remember you telling me that. LOL.   This album does have occasional prog elements, but it is by no means a prog album or band, which the Dean cover might lead people to believe at first sight.

Finishing up this one:

Oh and I see another Danish act being played there Steve. Nice one dude!

Yeah, Aginor hipped me to them.  Real nice album.

A Norwegian pushing Danish music? Stranger things have happened....

BTW and following with my fellow countrymen's output, then you gotta hear Young Flowers who were the Danish version of Cream so to speak.

This one, I'm particularly fond of(even if it is a Steppenwolf cover):

Good stuff!  They sound a lot like a bunch of other bands from that era I've heard (e.g. Cactus), but this is the first I've heard from Denmark. Thanks!

Pretty accurate description right there.
I did go through a phase where I almost exclusively listened to old Danish psych music, and these guys along with Burnin were and still are among the faves.

Nowadays I think I prefer Alrune Rod. They did an album called Hej Du, which is a real monster of an album. Early too, I think it's from 70. They were what you'd call a musical collective, who ate, played and lived together on some kind of farm(if I recall). Anyway that seeps into the album and makes for one heck of a trip through 3 tracks. Hell even Julian Cope has sung this album's praisesLOL You can still read his "review" of it somewhere on his head heritage site.

Sounds intriguing.  I wrote the name down on my foot so I'll remember it later!
(edit:  come to think of it, that name rings a bell.  I may have sought them out in the past)
