Stunning easy listening track Approve

6. Argent, a band that stems from the ashes of The Zombies. This track is from their first album, a very sunny track.
7. Long time bandmate of Steve Morse in Dixie Dregs, T Lavitz recorded two solo albums with a cast of guest, among which Steve SMith (Journey) and Steve Morse on this cheerful track. Very hard to find album, 'Storytime' is a marvellous jazz-rock/pop album. "Sparkle Plenty" can be heard in an acoustic version on the Steve Morse DVD live in NY 1992, with Dave Larue on bass, and...special guest...T Lavitz ! (surprising, eh ?)

I really enjoyed that track loved the guitars and also the harmonies somehow reminded me of original Uriah Heep, obviously the vocals are different but even so it did remind me of UH. Smile

You mentioned Argent. Our first band(Odin of London) recorded in a studio in Tinpan alley, London, under Rod Argent's music shop!

7. Forthcoming track is by Kansas-inspired band, Orphan project. This is a reworked version of the original version (I didn't know the album was reworked when I bought it, the original version is a tad better in my opinion). Autobiographic album, it showcases the amazing vocal skills of the frontman. I am surprised this album didn't get more attention when it first came out (in its original version).

I need to lend an ear to your other projects.
Argent (their first two albums, I don't know about the albums that followed) is really recommended when you are into early Yes.

True about Argent. So many bands released killer singles at the start. They didn't know it was prog. Maybe that was the secret. they just did some music. They had no plan. Once plans get in the way. Aaargh!

8. Not prog, but chosen for its beauty, Richard Marx' "this is your world" is full of magic, with a stellar line-up (I guess I don't need to mention the drummer here...).

The album would have lost a star in my rating then...LOL

I love it Lucas. Seems like you would annoy the hell out of people just like I do. Normal people hate the prog you like and prog people are suspiscious that you like other stuff.

If we had left Iron Pillows off the album , we would have gained a star from one or two others. Now that is weird but true. Our next album may be 81 mins long just to be annoying.
