Now, what has annoyed me over the past few weeks, is the fact that my reviews won't show up in the PA home page if I have already given them a star rating previously. What annoys me also, is that the review shows up as being written at the time of the first star rating.

Is there anything I can do about this? Does anyone else feel this way?

Could this be given serious consideration? Apart from this problem I have found PA a pleasure to use.

No.

Yes, but then again, nobody cares.

Yeah, ... and I believe there is a whole thread on that.

What annoyes me more is that the "First Review of this Album" banner doesn't appear if someone rates the album first.

Which is less fair?
What?

I was wondering about that.  I've done quite a few "first reviews" and wondered why that banner didn't show up.  Now I know.

As for the OPs problem, I'd recommend writing the review and giving the rating simultaneously.

I believe that you can ask an Admin to remove your rating and then you can write a review - I think in that way the problem might get solved but agree with Dean that it is even more unfair when a review does not get its credit if a rating has already been applied - please think of this as well when only applying a rating to an album

^ True, only an Admin can delete ratings, but don't ask me because I won't do it. Deleting a rating just so you can have your review on the front page for a couple of hours is a complete waste of my time and my time is not yours to waste.

Who is an admin that I can ask to do this? I would be very grateful.

I am not sure but you can find the list of Admins here - http://www.progarchives.com/all_collaborators.asp

I think now that the OP's questions are answered, this thread can be locked
