Moonburn

What do you get when you bring together four crazy college students with an undying passion for music, an utter disregard for conventional time signatures, and a collective dislike towards the cliched make-music-that-sells mentality?

They were soon to find out, when Aadit and Yash met in college and decided to form a band.. They began ( with the recruitment of Mayoor on bass ) as a classic-rock-covering band called Metal Fatigue. But a few line-up changes, and the increasing influence of progressive bands like Opeth, Tool and the genre defying Porcupine Tree led to a radical change in the bands outlook towards music.

Finally, after the recruitment of Ishaan on rythm guitar, and the the composition of their first single 'Veiled Forgiveness', the band decided they had discovered their own unique sound and renewed their musical journey under the name 'Moonburn' in early 2010.

With music unrestrained to any particular genre, lyrics ranging from topics like 'relationships' to 'drugs' to 'english literature', and time signatures that cannot be shown on the number line, the members of 'Moonburn' believe in utilising their creative potential to the fullest.. The band has, to date, released two singles and is currently working on their debut unnamed album..
