WalMart is not an owner of this sweatshop; it's a retailer who buys and re-sells goods. I do believe that WalMart, as any large company, has some kind of a Code of Conduct for its suppliers. But, understand that the factory in question wasn't even directly contracted to WalMart, in which case WalMart couldn't have enforced their Vendors' Code of Conduct.

I was talking about me, obviously, as we were discussing me wanting to move from Texas.  I'm not exactly poor.  Nowhere near wealthy either.  And at least for today, not homeless.  I want to leave, but also would like to continue my middle class existence.  I'm not willing to go homeless to get out of this state.  At least not yet.
