I grew up in Montana where there really is no affiliation and I always loved watching Barry Sanders on Sundays. I kind of just started liking the Lions at an early age and it's been all down hill since then. I love them so much that I hate them most of the time, along with the rest of the North.

Ahhhh that's different. I was gunna say, how does a Californian like the Lions?? Regardless the North I get. We usually don't like our division rivals Well, looks like the Packers ability to run the ball better is what won em this game. Go figure

Ugh, this is devastating. Always is. I hate watching my team lose. There's always this empty, depressing feeling in my gut when they lose, and it's way worse when it's to the Packers. HATE that team.

That's all normal Well, was a good effort but the Lions just aren't there yet. Pretty much reliant on Stafford to Johnson... man, it's amazing they keep it up as well as they do! Gotta get that D in shape, run the ball better, or get Matt some more weapons. MNF will hopefully be a great game. Go Texans! Beat the Pats!

Interested to see how the Pats fare against the Texans and Niners. Of course, I have to miss the Pats-Niners game flying to the west coast.
Hopefully we can at least play Houston in the AFC Championship game. I'd almost prefer losing that than losing to the Giants in the Super Bowl again.

I should be done with my first final and back in time to watch tonight's game. I'm really excited to see a potential AFC Championship matchup tonight. Also, if I had the money for it right now and was in Vegas, I would probably take that 5.5 point spread on the Pats and put it on the Texans to win. I'm interested to see how much their defense rattles Brady. Certainly moreso than the brooms they held up in front of his face in practice last week.

Jody and Raven's nation should be elated. Maybe Flacco will pass to players outside tight ends more than 15% of the time Well, I expected a Pats win but yikes! That was a beat down. I do enjoy being right though I said it: Texans' defense isn't the same, and have no pass rush outside Watt. Aren't running the ball as well and are limited to Andre Johnson really...lack of depth, too one dimensional!

^And BS touchdowns that help them win games.
But hey, let's face it, the Pats are in true form right now and will be tough for any team to take down. Maybe the Broncos now that they're hitting their stride. I'm sensing a possible Super Bowl rematch from last year happening.

Those who thinks that only the NFC have good teams, watch for those Pats!

The Cheatriots are not a very good team. Don't get too excited about one game. I assume this will be a wake up call loss for Houston. That said, I repeat my call for Roger GODell's head for allowing this Cheatriot sillyness to continue. The fact that Bill Belichick is still allowed to be a coach in this league after cheating the sport for years, effectively stealing the legitimacy of season after season, is disgraceful. It's a shame the Rooneys didn't make a stink about it at the time and everyone's still paying for it. The way the NFL is run sickens me.

Well, not the only good teams but cmon...outside the Broncos the only other legit threat in my mind are the Pats, and while they are very good, certainly have issues. Seriously, I already had a qualm with the Texans because their pass offense is 99% Schaub to Andre...but now the run is looking worse, and the defense is hurting (and lacks pass rushers). I'm far from sold. Broncos have a ticket to the SB, it's theirs to lose. I will give the Pats credit (much as it pains me) they have certainly gone back to a more balanced offense and have really let up on running up the score. They have some great LBs but the line is suspect and can't trust the pass defense. Still, the D doesn't seem as horrendous as last year.

I hate to look at it this way, but tonight is probably a must-win for us against the Eagles. Although I don't think it should be too much trouble. Their O-line has been fairly terrible, and the Bengals lead the league in sacks, so I don't think it's much of a mystery as to how this game will turn out. Unless of course the Bengals piss away another golden opportunity, as they're so used to. Like last Sunday!

Didn't you just predict Houston to win?

pretty much neutral on this game, it has 0 impact on the Giants soo I hope it's a good one! It could be, guess I'm pulling for the Bengals just because but really I want a fun game is all.
Edit: Wow...was pretty tight for a while, and the Eagles D really was playing damn well but what a torrent of fumbles. When you give up that many, and in a short span, you're toast.
Way too early to make a definitive statement but this Foles has talent. Maybe the QB for the Eagles after the failed Vick experiment?

To put it lightly, that was a f**king terrible, sloppy game. The Bungles
better find a way to shore up that O-line sometime within the next 10
days, or else they won't have a prayer against the Steelers. And 6 sacks against Dalton too! You know if the Steelers get that many opportunities, the Bengals might as well give up on their playoff chances.

Still a young team...very solid defense and the offense has really clicked at times. Maybe inconsistent but they're young man. If Andy and AJ keep developing could be some good days ahead.
The nerds at PFF actually rank their o line very highly. I think it may have just been the Eagles man. They always have rushed the QB well. Maybe not as well this year but they still have some beasts on the line.
