What's up with you?

JT is always good. Check it out the Chris Squire christmas album too, maybe you like it LOL

I enjoy the Chris Squire one.  Thanks for the reminder.  I will have to put that on my iPod, if it isn't there already.

Had a really nice thing happen today on youtube. One of my favorite musicians, kind of a music hero of mine is German guitarist Dirk Steffens. 2 months ago i posted a response to a song of his posted on youtube, and for weeks i checked and no one responded. Just yesterday, i checked and lo and behold, there was a response from his bass player/lead vocalist Ian Cussick! I replied to him, asking whatever happened to Dirk Steffens, and he responded today to me! Unfortunately, he is not in touch with Dirk, but it was a thrill to hear from him directly. Proggers may know that Steffens was in Birth Control at one point, and Cussick himself was in Lucifer's Friend for a spell.

Whoa! Cool beans, Doug.  That's one of the perks of being a fan of non-mainstream music, musicians are more likely to give personal responses to their fans.

Thanks for the recommendation! I'll check it out, but it looks like it'll have to be my Christmas-album-to-check-out next Christmas. Too much other stuff still on my "list of albums to check out" for this yearLOL
