The newsletter disappeared more than a year ago. Sadly. Out of fashion I believe, the Facebook page to some extent replacing that feature.

I am working on getting a limited run of physical CD's of Imposing Elements.  I should know more very,very soon!

I'm mean c'mon, every single CD you have rated you have given a 1 star to, except Threshold... Is this fair?

Thanks Atomic!  You will hear new music from me soon, but not too soon, I'm trying to get a handle on electric bass at the moment - yep, hopefully another instrument under my belt, and it's much more difficult than any old guitar player might think - so I'm a bit in learning phase instead of writing phase, but I do have about 20 minutes of music written for my next CD "Fantasizer" - should see it in 2013!
Re ratings: Is there anything that can be done when these types of rating manipulations occur?  Perhaps not.  I guess we will never know if someone really thinks that way, or if they are manipulating.  Oh well, just thought I'd vent.  Thanks again.

I recommended no 1 star rates unless with a review but the idea was not popular. I agree it would be fair to hear why someone has rated an album with 1 star.

It gets extremely fishy when the indiviual rating you joined less than one week ago, and when every rating they have done they have given a 1 star to, but 1 entry got 5 stars ....  I also believe 5 different raters are actually the same person.

It is beyond fishy and a disservice to the artist and other members. They probably did not listen to your music. Best not to to dwell on the negativity, sometimes 2 negatives do not equal a positive.

I don't recommend ratings without reviews at all. Fortunately, a rating with review counts as heavy as 10 (members) or 20 (collabs) ratings-only.

My CD Imposing Elements ( 2012 ) has been sitting at around 9-10 for the entire year, and just went to 17, but I have had no recent reviews. I'm more curious than anything, how does that happen? Really, just curious. I'm honoured to even be on the list.

Hi everyone!  Just wanted to give you all a heads up that my latest CD "Fantasizer!" will be available soon.  I'm just finalizing the CD design, then off to the manufacturer it goes.  In the interim, I have it up on Bandcamp  http://deanwatson.bandcamp.com/album/fantasizer, if you would care to listen .... but if anyone is interested in reviewing it, I could ( for the moment ) mail a burnt copy to you, or email MP3's, you could listen on Bandcamp, or you could just wait until the CD run is created, I'll post again here when that occurs.
 
I also wanted to mention that the entry for this has aleady been posted, and I want to thank apps79 and NotAProghead for doing that for me!  Thank you!
